A real man: Unboxing stereotypes of masculinity through art and self expression

What does it mean to be a real man? How can toxic masculinity and the stereotypes constructed by society negatively affect men and their ability to connect with themselves and others?
The ManBox Project, a new community-led research project from the 春水堂视频 of Calgary鈥檚 Faculty of Social Work and the Alberta Men鈥檚 Network, is exploring the ideas of masculinity through art and community engagement. Will Tabak, UCalgary Alumni and Alberta Men鈥檚 Network Coordinator, is working to break down walls by creating鈥痑ctual鈥痓oxes鈥痑nd asking men to鈥痯aint them as a way of self-expression of their identity.
